Geometry-dependent dephasing in small metallic wires

Abstract

Magnetotransport in AuPd nanowires down to wire widths substantially below 10 nm was examined as T → 0. It was shown that a single material system can exhibit either saturating of diverging magnetoresistance behavior correlated with sample geometry.
