We studied excitonic Bose-polarons formed by spatially direct excitons (DXs) dressed by excitations of the surrounding degenerate Bose gas of spatially indirect excitons (IXs) in electron-hole bilayers. We observed the generalized Mott transition in Bose-polarons.
