Four-wave mixing in highly Ge-doped nonlinear fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate and study four-wave mixing in an 11-m highly Ge-doped nonlinearfiber (HDF) for the first time. The HDF is highly compatible with standard single mode fiber that allows a homogeneous platform for signal processing.
