Abstract

Using data collected by the CLEO III detector at CESR, we report on the first observation of the decays (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) The branching fractions are measured relative to the (Formula presented) mode; we find (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) We also observe a small excess of events in (Formula presented) (Formula presented) from which we find (Formula presented) with a corresponding limit of (Formula presented) at 90% confidence level. This rate is consistent with previous measurements of (Formula presented) (Formula presented) We find that the combined branching fractions for (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) comprise (Formula presented) of the total (Formula presented) rate. We set an upper limit on (Formula presented) for non-ω and non-η modes of 0.13 at 90% confidence level.
