Abstract

We find that our previously-reported solutions of extensions of the Lieb-Wu solutions of the Hubbard chain to other permutation symmetries are invalid because of failure of the Bethe Ansatz involving configurations with multiply-occupied (n > 3) sites. An at-first-sight surprising implication is that for the distinguishable-particle lattice gas model, the Bethe-Ansatz wavefunctions do not constitute a complete set.
