Abstract

The exploration of high harmonic fast wave (HHFW) heating on the National Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX) was presented. To explore the physics of HHFW heating, an rf heating system was installed on the NSTX. The results showed that HHFW heating was used to explore the energy transport properties of NSTX plasma.
