Abstract
A series of experiments, simulations, and demonstrations is described which has been developed to accompany a first course in digital signal processing at Columbia University. These experiments range from analog-to-digital conversion to adaptive filtering. Students perform modifications of programs from an extensive subroutine library and link these subroutines together to carry out various simulations.
