Abstract

The mechanism of foam flow through porous materials is investigated in an attempt to comprehend and improve processes such as dyeing and finishing of porous textiles, eg nonwoven fabrics of varying fibre composition, where foam is used. A two-parameter fluid model incorporating a 'critical pressure gradient' is used.
