Equilibration in two chambers connected by a capillary

Abstract

The equilibrium of particles in a system consisting of two chambers connected by a narrow capillary was studied. Analysis produced expressions for Laplace transforms of the relaxation functions. It was found that relaxation in general is not single exponential.
