Elementary excitations of the quantum sine-Gordon model in the massless regime 2>8: Derivation from the XXZ model

Abstract

From the identification of the easy-plane XXZ spin chain as a 2>8 quantum sine-Gordon system, the nonlinear elementary excitations of the latter are identified as massless "twists" carrying the topological charge 28, and (depending on 2) twist-antitwist bound states.
