Electrophoretic properties of an octadecanol dispersion

Abstract

The electrophoretic mobility of an octadecanol dispersion has been measured as a function of pH, salt concentration and temperature. It is shown to be markedly dependent on the purity of the material and the manner of preparation of the electrophoresis cell.
