Abstract
Electrical resistivity of polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7- at temperatures between 20 and 900°C and various O2 pressures, is correlated with oxygen deficiency. The observed strong increase above 400°C is explained by a model of homogeneous disorder: elastic scattering proportional to and electronic density of states depressed (c-), where c0.85. The orthorhombic-to-tetragonal structural transition temperature, which is broadened by intrinsic fluctuations, is shown to be a linear function of.
