Cryogenic photon-mass experiment

Abstract

We have conducted a Coulomb's-law experiment at 1.36 K, in a search for low-temperature phase-transition effects. Our null result establishes that the photon at 1.36 K has a mass of less than (1.5 1.4)×10-42 g.
