Abstract
The authors regret two mathematical mistakes in the generation of the original figure: the use of nanometers in place of micrometers in the AXUV diode Silicon substrate thickness (which lead to an erroneous damping of the higher energy photon response of the filter/diode system (blue trace)) and the incorrect implementation of the Gaunt factor in the continuum radiation (red trace), leading to an improper calculation of the recombination radiation spectral component. We are confident in the veracity of the replacement figure, as it now matches qualitatively the results presented in Fig. 1 of "Tangential extreme ultraviolet and soft x-ray diagnostic system for time-resolved temperature measurement on the HBT-EP tokamak", (Boting. Li et al, 2024, RSI).[Figure presented] The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
