Abstract
For the product N,N-dimethyl-2,2a,7,7a-tetrahydro-1H-cyclobuta[a]indene-2-carboxamide (3ac) in Scheme 2, the major diastereomer has been reassigned as having the anti configuration, rather than the syn configuration as originally reported. Accordingly, the minor diastereomer adopts the syn configuration, instead of the previously assigned anti configuration. The correct stereochemical assignments of the 3ac diastereomers are now presented in the revised Scheme 2 below and the revised Supporting Information (SI). NOESY spectra for both diastereomers have also been included in the revised Supporting Information. We acknowledge Professor Andrei Kutateladze for bringing this issue to our attention.
