Abstract

Electrical discharge plasma is a competitive technology for the destruction of a range of aqueous contaminants. The process efficacy depends on the proximity of the contaminant(s) to the plasma-liquid interface and is thus directly controlled by the transport limitations in the bulk liquid. Today, those are generally minimized by a trial and error design approach.
