Abstract

Flat-top spectral response from cascaded subwavelength resonant filters is demonstrated experimentally with much flatter passband and sharper rolloff than for a single filter. The ratio of 10dB to 3dB bandwidth is reduced from 3 for a single filter to 1.53.
