Abstract
The general correct formulation for the problem of numerical simulation of aerodynamics and heat transfer for turbulent flows, where the viscous effects were not localized in thin boundary layer only, was given. An approach to the problem solution based on three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations averaged by Reynolds and made parabolic in respect to longitudinal coordinate, i.e. along the main flow direction. The results of test calculations had shown that the method suggested gave quite accurate estimations for local values of loss coefficients.
