Abstract
A method is presented for computing the angular dependence of photoemission from an arbitrarily oriented surface. The method is based on the three-step model and it makes direct use of the band structure taking into account all the emission cones. Explicit formulas are derived that allow to locate k-points which contribute 8-peaks to the spectrum at fixed angles of observation.
