Abstract

The power spectrum of coherent Rayleigh-Brillouin scattering (CRBS)' depends on transport parameters including the bulk viscosity. This in turn provides an alternative method to measure bulk viscosity. In this paper, we present the measurements in nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide at room temperature.
