Bubble flow simulations with the lattice Boltzmann method

Abstract

In an effort to establish benchmarks for the application of the lattice Boltzmann method to bubbly flow simulations, we compute bubbles in periodic boxes as a function of the Eotvos and Morton numbers and compare the results with established empirical correlations.
