Author Correction: Public and local policymaker preferences for large-scale energy project characteristics (Nature Energy, (2024), 9, 10, (1230-1240), 10.1038/s41560-024-01603-w)

Correction to: Nature Energyhttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41560-024-01603-w, published online 1 August 2024. In the version of this article, and accompanying policy brief, originally published, a coding error resulted in selection of the incorrect variable to subset data, omitting a random portion of the sample in Experiment 2. This error modestly affected the width of confidence intervals and the precision of some subgroup estimates. The error has been corrected and the substantive findings remain unchanged. Figs. 3, 4, and 5 have been updated in the HTML and PDF versions of the article in addition to the Supplementary information file (with corrected Supplementary Tables 2–4) and replication code. The original and corrected figures are available for comparison in the Supplementary information accompanying this amendment.
