Abstract
Describing the quasineutral plasma in ionization and acceleration regions of a hall thruster, by a set of hydrodynamic equations was discussed. The near-anode region was described by invoking the electron distribution function and poisson equation. The results showed that the anode sheath depended on the discharge voltage and the mass flow rate of the thruster.
