Abstract

Environmental experts state that countries around the world need to adopt effective measures, to overcome the challenges of migrating animals. Animal migration has emerged as a significant challenge around the world, as migrating animals face several threats, including habitat destruction, overexploitation, disease, and global climate change. These experts also state that saving these migratory animals from emerging threats will be one of the most significant conservation challenges of the 21st century. The decline of migratory species of animals in North America, has emerged as another significant conservation challenge. The species of migratory passenger pigeons have been eliminated, while another species of migratory bison has been saved, due to significant conservation efforts.
