N2 - We propose a variable-power rate-adaptive LDPC-coded OFDM scheme, suitable for use in radio-over-fiber technologies. The optimum power-rate adaptation is used to compensate for limited bandwidth of graded-index plastic-optical-fiber, while wireless receiver diversity is used to overcome the multipath fading.
