title = "A Greco-Arabic Palimpsest from the Sinai New Finds: Some Preliminary Observations",
abstract = "This article is a preliminary study of the Arabic text of Sinai New Finds MG 2, a ninth-century bilingual Greek-Arabic palimpsest containing the letters of Paul. It contains brief discussions of the letters of Paul in Arabic, bilingual Greco-Arabic manuscripts, and the study of the Arabic Bible. A series of test passages are used to investigate the Vorlage of the Arabic translation and it is suggested on the basis of these passages that the translation was made from the Peshitta. Future lines of research into this particular translation are also suggested.",
