Abstract
A double-heterostructure copper phthalocyanine/C 60 organic photovoltaic cells with series resistance were demonstrated. A high fill factor of ∼0.6 was achieved, which was only slightly reduced at very high intense illumination. It was found that the power conversion efficiency increases with the incident optical power density. It was also observed that the dependence of the series resistance on device area suggested the dominance of the bulk resistance of the indium-tin-oxide anode.
